PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST ROCK CLIMBING AS AN EXTREME TYPE OF TOURISM AND RECREATION IN THE ALTAI TERRITORY
Abstract
The paper presents a general overview of the climbing areas of the Altai Territory, based on the data of the guide book, the author's personal experience and information provided by the climbing community of the Altai Territory. The assessment of the natural and recreational potential of climbing areas is given in order to consider the prospects for the development of tourist climbing as an extreme type of tourism and recreation in the Altai Territory.
