COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME INDICATORS OF HIGHER NERVOUS ACTIVITY AND MORPHOLOGICAL P
Abstract
Partial or complete exclusion of animal products from the diet with inadequate diet planning can lead to a shortage of macro-and micronutrients, which in turn can negatively affect the health of a person of any age. Information about the performance of higher nervous activity and morphological indicators in young people with different types of food (vegetarians and meat eaters) has not been studied enough.
The aim of the work is to make a comparative characteristic of some indicators of higher nervous activity functioning and morphological indicators in young people with a traditional type of food and vegetarians.
40 people aged 18–23 years were assessed for their performance and concentration using Bourdon's proof-reading tables, and the volume of short-term memory and concentration was assessed using the Wexler method. All subjects had a body mass index. The main group was made up of vegetarians, and the control group was made up of people with a traditional type of food.
The results showed that vegetarians have lower performance and concentration levels than traditional dieters. But according to the method of Wexler, there were no significant differences in the concentration of attention in young people with different types of food (vegetarians and meat eaters). The level of short-term memory in vegetarians is higher than in traditionally eating young people. There are no significant differences in body mass index in vegetarians and people with a traditional type of food.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
