COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND FUNCTIONAL STABILITY IN HIGH-SKILLED BOXERS
Abstract
The problem of diagnosing the functional and psychological state of athletes of high performance sports in martial arts is quite relevant. We studied the functional and psychological state of boxers of high qualification. 22 boxers aged 18-23 years of different qualification level took part in the study. Various methods of research were used: assessment of morphofunctional status of boxers, testing of psychomotor qualities, determination of psychological status. It was found that boxers of the highest level of training were characterized by a more accurate sense of time intervals, reliably higher speed indicators and showed a higher result on the perception of space than boxers of the level of candidate master of sports. The study revealed that the boxers of the highest level of training had significantly lower situational and personality anxiety than the boxers of the master of sports candidate level. In both groups of athletes the persons of only two types of temperament - sanguine and choleric - were revealed. The detected differences in the indicators of psychological status of boxers of different qualifications can be used to predict the success of athletes' performance. The level of stress resistance determines the reliability of a person facing an extreme situation and solving rather complex and responsible tasks under conditions of considerable tension.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
