Abstract

The article examines the features of organizing the training process of archery athletes in the Arctic region. The study’s relevance is determined by the influence of regional factors, such as polar night and day, climatic limitations, and reduced competitive practice, on the formation of technical skill stability. The aim was to theoretically substantiate a regionally adaptive approach to the training process. Materials and methods included an analysis of scientific and methodological literature, regulatory documents, and the practical experience of sports reserve training in YNAO, using comparative-analytical and systemic approaches. Results identified key challenges in training under Arctic conditions and proposed methods for their compensation: individualization of training time, inclusion of activation and coordination exercises, enhanced warm-up and stabilization training, simulation of competitive situations, and use of gamification elements. The discussion highlights that comprehensive consideration of climatic, light, and organizational factors improves technical skill stability, ensures a methodologically sound training process, and supports the development of competitive readiness. The conclusions emphasize the need to move from universal training models to regionally adaptive approaches focused on Arctic conditions, improving training efficiency and the quality of sports reserve preparation.
