EARLY YOUTH OSTEOCHONDROSIS OF THE BREAST AND LUMBAR SPINE AS A COMPLICATION IN IMPAIRED
Abstract
Connective tissue dysplasia in childhood is often manifested by pathological changes in the musculoskeletal system. In most cases, such children have a violation of posture in the frontal plane, which is further complicated by early juvenile (juvenile) osteochondrosis. This background pathology is due to a hereditary predisposition. The intensity of the development of posture disturbance in the frontal plane against the background of dysplastic processes is noted when the child’s skeleton grows very rapidly, i.e. intense linear growth occurs. During this period, weakness of the musculo-ligamentous apparatus is diagnosed, the thoracic curvature of the spine increases. Irregularly formed bends of the spine not only make the child’s physique ugly, but also adversely affect his condition, and in some cases lead to the development of early juvenile osteochondrosis.
The purpose of the work is to substantiate and differentiate new tactical approaches in predicting and preventing the development of osteochondrosis, to formulate complexes of treatment and rehabilitation measures for children with impaired posture in the frontal plane against the background of connective tissue dysplasia at the outpatient stage.
In comparative aspects, information is provided on the condition of 50 children aged 12 to 18 years. The comparison group included 30 children with a diagnosis of impaired posture in the frontal plane, in which a history of connective tissue dysplasia was not diagnosed.
Diagnostic measures should be carried out comprehensively, not limited to radiography. Electroneuromyographic and stabilographic methods reflected the projection of the center of gravity and the degree of participation of soft tissues in the pathological process, made it possible to evaluate the dynamics of pathological changes.
