LOW PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, SEDENTARY BEHAVIOR AND COVID-19 — THE MODERN TRIAD OF THREATS TO HUMAN HEALTH: A LITERATURE REVIEW
Abstract
Objective: present the results of a content analysis of modern data regarding the combination of three independently developing factors that negatively affect the physical, mental and social health of a person. The main research method was a content analysis of original literary sources published in peer-reviewed journals for the period 2018-2022. Bibliographic search was carried out using the search databases MedLine, PsyInfo, Cochrane, as well as electronic resources of CyberLeninka and libraries of leading Russian universities of physical culture and sports, using the keywords: physical activity, sedentary behavior, Covid-19 lockdawn.
116 sources were found, from which, according to the purpose of the study, 56 scientific articles were selected. The materials of these articles were subjected to a critical analysis and presented in this review. Many authors believe that the combination of low physical activity, sedentary behavior and restrictions due to Covid-19 requires close attention, as it seriously threatens human health.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
