Authorship and conflict of interest

The Editorial Board takes for consideration only original manuscripts which haven’t been previously published or are not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.

All copyrights on the articles belong to «Health, Physical Culture and Sports» and its authors. The editors have the rights to use any means of communications for the dissemination of the articles, prepare all foreign language translations and other derivative works, transfer or sub-license these rights. Publication of texts in other editions, entirely or partially, is possible only when all republished materials have a link to the original publication in the «Health, Physical Culture and Sports».

The authors must obtain permission to use copyrighted materials from other sources – illustrations, tables, photos etc. Information about the source and authorship must be noted under each part of borrowed material.

If the manuscript has been accepted for publication, each author must sign a Copyright Agreement form and send the signed forms, in electronic format, to the Editor together with the final version of the article (Author Copyright Agreement forms are sent by e-mail).

Authors should disclose at the time of submission any financial arrangement they may have. Such information will be held in confidence while the paper is under review and will not influence the editorial decision, but if the article is accepted for publication, the editors will usually discuss with the authors the manner in which such information is to be communicated to the reader. Because the essence of reviews and editorials is selection and interpretation of the literature, journal expects that authors of such articles will not have any financial interest in a company (or its competitor) that makes a product discussed in the article. Journal policy requires that reviewers, associate editors, editors reveal in a letter to the Editor-in-Chief any relationships that they have that could be construed as causing a conflict of interest with regard to a manuscript under review. The letter should include a statement of any financial relationships with commercial companies involved with a product under study.
