METHOD OF DETERMINING RISK GROUPS OF A HIGH NEGATIVE INFLUENCE OF MEDICAL AND SOCIAL FACTORS ON HEALTH AND HEALTH ORIENTED BEHAVIOR OF SCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract
Negative changes in the health status of the child population require improvementof methods for identifying risk groups of health disorders in order to provide targeted correctivepreventive programs. WHO declares that the main factors determining the development of noncommunicatediseases are lifestyle factors, behavioral factors.Diagnostic tools are proposed, developed on the basis of an informational approach todetermining the significance of various medical and social factors for the health-oriented behaviorof modern schoolchildren. The technique included several stages. The initial questionnaire included50 questions that covered the most important aspects of the way of life of schoolchildren. Afterevaluating the information content of each of the components of medical and social factors, it wasfound that the most significant for the differentiation of the groups were those that belonged to the“family”, “daily regimen” and their own beliefs regarding health-oriented behavior. So, the factors that negatively affect the health and health of oriented behavior (with a highnegative diagnostic coefficient) include such signs as the fact of smoking of all family members, dissatisfaction with family relationships, lack of motivation to maintain a healthy lifestyle, a positiveattitude towards advertising of low-alcohol drinks or smoking. The final version of the diagnostic questionnaire includes fifteen questions that which correspondthe various components of a lifestyle. For each question, answers are offered in points, based onstandardization on a “sten” scale. Answering questions, the questioned person chooses one of theanswer options that he considers true for himself. When analyzing the results, calculate the total numbers of points of the entire questionnaireand match with the gradations which correspond to the sten scale — low, medium or high level ofnegative impact of medical and social factors on health and health-oriented behavior.Given the identified features, it is recommended that preventive and educational measures betaken.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
