METHODS TO INCREASE THE SUCCESS OF ATHLETES IN EDUCATIONAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Abstract
Currently, the crisis moment in the preparation of the sports reserve is the period of professional orientation, which coincides with the period of preparation for the state exams and the moment of transition of the athlete from the group of sports improvement to the group of sports skills. All these events, as a rule, occur in one period of time — in high school or the period of completion of education in general education and sports schools. At this time, many athletes who have not passed into the category of professionals, but showing sufficiently high athletic results to be a worthy sports reserve for a long time and in the future members of national teams, are faced with a choice — to continue their sports career, but delay the period of preparation for admission to a higher educational institution or in order to start building a professional career., but to refuse the opportunity to continue playing sports. The program presented in this article allows athletes to make the most comfortable transition from the group of sports improvement to the group of sports skills, as well as to start building a professional career with admission to a higher educational institution or an educational organization of secondary vocational education. The purpose of this study is to identify the most significant problems of the activity of talented athletes during the period of professional self-determination, as well as to describe the conditions that contribute to the success of athletes in building a “dual career” (educational and sports activities). The leading method of research on this topic is the analysis of the activities of promising athletes. To solve the tasks set, it is planned to use the following scientific methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of literary data; identification of existing concepts and approaches to solving the formulated problem; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; sociological methods; methods of mathematical statistics. The article presents the results of a study of the problems that arise in talented athletes in the process of professional self-determination related to the choice of continuing a sports career or entering an educational institution. The materials can be used to develop and implement a support system for athletes, including various components: medical and biological; socio-pedagogical; informational.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
