GENDER DIFFERENCES IN THE IDEAS OF FAMILY ROLES AMONG STUDENTS
Abstract
In modern society, there is a crisis of marriage and family, and there is a devaluation of these phenomena. In this regard, the problems of the family at this stage of the development of society are becoming more and more urgent, and psychological science, in turn, has a huge impact on strengthening the institution of the family. One of the important problems is the ideas of family and marriage among young people, as representatives of the generation who have yet to form family relations. The purpose of the research work was to study gender differences in students' ideas about family roles. 51 students participated in the study. The following methods were used as diagnostic tools to achieve the purpose of the study: the questionnaire "Distribution of roles in the family" by Yu. E. Alyoshina, L. Ya. Gozman, E. M. Dubovskaya, the questionnaire "Role expectations and claims in marriage" by A. N. Volkova and the questionnaire "Measuring attitudes in a married couple" by Yu. E. Alyoshina. For mathematical and statistical data processing, the following are used: the Mann-Whitney U-criterion. As a result, gender differences in perceptions of family roles were revealed. It was found that a woman in the family is assigned to perform most of the roles, especially on the part of young men, while the male sex is supposed to perform only the role of material support and career development. Moreover, girls do not have similar ideas and their claims are somewhat lower in performing many roles than boys expect.

Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
