THERAPEUTIC GYMNASTICS EFFECTIVENESS IN THE BRONCHIAL ASTHMA REATMENT
Abstract
Bronchial asthma is one of the most common pathologies in the modern world. The search for ways to increase the effectiveness of treatment and prevent the appearance of this disease seems relevant. The work is devoted to the study of the effectiveness of therapeutic physical education in the treatment of bronchial asthma. The tasks are set: to analyze the scientific literature on the research problem, evaluate the data obtained from students of a medical university, identify the number of people using exercise therapy as a direction of therapy, and develop recommendations to improve the quality of life of people suffering from bronchial asthma. The survey of persons suffering from bronchial asthma was conducted. In total, 136 people aged 18 to 50 took part in the study. The results showed that 70% of respondents regularly engage in therapeutic gymnastics. Of these, about 65% noted an improvement in well-being after the start of classes.For the respondents, a set of necessary exercises was proposed to improve the well-being of people suffering from bronchial asthma. The results of the study allow us to draw conclusions that more than 70% of people suffering from bronchial asthma engage in motor activity from 1-5 times a week and consider exercise therapy to be one of the important directions in the therapy and prevention of the disease. They also assure that therapeutic gymnastics has a positive effect on the quality of life, improves overall well-being, helps improve respiratory function and reduce the frequency of respiratory attacks. A significant number of people who consider exercise therapy ineffective in the treatment and prevention of the disease (30%) may be caused by limited access to information, fear and doubts related to the possibility of deterioration in asthma during exercise, as well as the lack of positive positive experience with exercise therapy for the treatment and prevention of bronchial asthma.
