Abstract.
The purpose of the work: to outline the life and work path of Oleg Pavlovich Ivanov, a military doctor, teacher, veteran of the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology of the Grodno State Medical University. Results. The severe military hardships took away Oleg Pavlovich's childhood and relatives, his mother died, and his father died in 1947. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Leningrad Anti-Aircraft Artillery Technical School, and after graduation he served in military units until 1962. In 1968 he graduated from the Medical and Preventive Faculty of the Kirov Military Medical Academy, having received the specialty of a military doctor, continued his military service in the military units of the Soviet Union. Improving professionalism in the profession, organizational skills, he achieved in his military career the position of head of the toxico-radiological department of the infirmary. He was awarded diplomas and medals for conscientious service. Since 1978, the work biography of Oleg Pavlovich Ivanov has been associated with the Grodno State Medical Institute, where he worked for 4 years as a teacher of toxicology at the military department, and since 1982 as an assistant at the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology. For twenty-three years of teaching at the Grodno Medical Institute, he has earned the respect of colleagues and hundreds of students. His contribution to the improvement of the pedagogical process in the section "Occupational hygiene" consists in the organization for two decades of practical classes at the bases of industrial enterprises of the city of Grodno, the development and introduction into the educational process during laboratory classes of new techniques in the sections "food hygiene" and "military hygiene". Conclusion. Oleg Pavlovich Ivanov, a veteran of the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology, is an example of a person who has a rich biography of impeccable service to the cause.
