ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INDICATORS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS: REVIEW OF FOREIGN STUDIES
Abstract
All over the world, students are the most vulnerable part of society, at risk of cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and psychoemotional disorders. An important aspect of university education is a lifestyle that includes three categories: standard of living (economic), quality of life (sociological), and lifestyle (socio-psychological). Despite the well-known advantages of physical education in overcoming stressful situations, emotional problems, and improving physical and mental health, there are not enough systematic, effective practices in the literature that are in demand for students' physical activity. The purpose of the study is the relationship between physical activity and mental health of university students by analyzing their lifestyle and suggested effective physical activity practices. The review includes open-access foreign scientific articles in English published in 2023-2024. The search was carried out in the
scientific databases WOS, Scopus, PabMed, APA PsicInfo for certain search terms. A synthesis of the results was carried out, with the extraction of data necessary for summarizing the results. It has been shown that physical activity, regardless of the forms and methods of its application, is an effective tool for stress management, improving psychological well-being and lifestyle. Universities should implement a variety of physical education programs that are accessible and effective at all levels of physical fitness of students.

An author should not normally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in multiple journals or publication venues. Such redundant publication is generally considered to constitute unethical publishing behavior, and if discovered may result in a manuscript under consideration being rejected, or a published article being retracted.
Authors of manuscripts reporting on original research should present an accurate account of the work performed, accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the manuscript. The manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. The fabrication of results and the making of fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and may be cause for rejection or retraction of a manuscript or published article.
